What do you need for summer fishing?

Fishing - both winter and summer - is like a men's club. The main thing here is not the result, but the process. Let it be necessary to travel a hundred or two kilometers, and the catch will be five to ten perch. It does not matter. The feeling of male solidarity, time well spent and relaxation from family worries are important.

Fishing can be different depending on whether you have the right car or not. It is clear that the ownership of an off-road vehicle (at least a simple UAZ) allows you to get to places much more remote from civilization than with a simple "passenger car" of the "Zhiguli" class, even if it is not made here. This means that you can visit the territories less well-known by fishing enthusiasts. What do you need for summer fishing to benefit from spending time in nature? Let's consider in more detail.

Fishing accessories

Let's decide right away: all sorts of bad things like explosives, “ electric fishing rods ”or even networks are excluded from the outset. We leave only the varieties of fishing rods and, for an amateur, - venteri. With the latter, everything is clear: a venter is also in Africa a venter, in addition to bait, it only requires a bucket, where you need to put the caught fish. But with fishing rods, not everything is so simple. So, going on a long summer fishing, we will take with us both fishing rods and related items (equipment):

  • a fishing rod or spinning rod, complete with a reel, line, float, leash, sinker and hook; if you are really an avid fisherman, then 2-3 fishing rods are included;
  • several spools with different line thickness;
  • a set of hooks;
  • several spare floats;
  • spare weights;
  • Spoons (if you are planning spinning fishing);
  • cages for caught fish;
  • groundbait.

By the way, about bait. This thing is very important, and a real fisherman will never buy it in a store, but will make it himself. Each fisherman has an exclusive recipe for feeding. For its preparation, cereals are used (first of all, pearl barley, as the cheapest), sunflower cake, milk powder, dried daphnia and other small crustaceans, dried bloodworms, bread crumbs and various combinations of these ingredients. Adding unrefined sunflower oil to the dressing will make its use more efficient.

Summer fishing is not only fishing...

It is clear that when you go fishing for a week and a half, you must, in addition to fishing accessories, take the minimum for your own life support:

  • products (the volume depends on the duration of the fishing trip and on the expected catch);
  • a stove or similar cooking appliance; but it is not necessary to take it if you rely on a fire;
  • a tent;
  • clothing and footwear designed for wet weather;
  • some container for salting fish - if you are hoping for a big catch and want to keep it;
  • if you are without modern gadgets - no way, then, perhaps, take a laptop, tablet or smartphone with Internet access; on occasion, you can watch TV;
  • And, finally, something that fishing evening gatherings cannot do without - vodka at the rate of 1 bottle per person-day.

The last point, of course, belongs to the category of hypothetical and humorous. In addition to all of the above, you can, if conditions allow (primarily the capacity of the trunk), take any number of those things that will make your fishing trip as comfortable as possible. If you do not have such opportunities and are going to fish only for one day, then you will have to be content with a minimum of luggage: in addition to fishing accessories, it will include only products "for one time".
