Difference between human labor and animal “labor”.

Sometimes the actions of animals are very similar to human labor. Our "little brothers" also equip their homes, procure and store food, take care of the offspring. But still, the mechanisms by which the activities of people are carried out are somewhat different.

needs. It is one of the ways of human interaction with the world. Such activities are aimed at transforming natural objects into necessary products. Labor can also be intellectual when information processing is performed.

Comparison

There are a number of signs indicating that the activities of people are at a special level. Thus, an important difference between human labor and animal “labor” can be seen by making a comparison in terms of goal setting. Only people are capable, before starting work, to present in detail the final result, and in the process of work to strive for the implementation of the plan. Goal-setting is not peculiar to animals.

Often a person first thinks about what to do and why, selects the best ways to achieve the goal, in a word, shows awareness. Animals are not able to think like that, to plan something, they act instinctively. If a person often uses a creative approach in work, then animals are deprived of this opportunity. None of them, with rare exceptions, are unable to invent original ways of solving various problems.

The next difference concerns the use of tools. If we talk about a person, then he clearly understands which tool must be used in a particular case. In addition, people not only use machines and mechanisms that are sometimes quite complex in control for their intended purpose, but also produce them themselves. Animals, meanwhile, can use objects of nature in their actions, but making tools is not available to them.

What is the difference between human labor and the “labor” of an animal yet? The fact that this type of activity in people often acquires a social character. This means that it is natural for a person to work in a team where there is mutual assistance, exchange of experience, and joint decision-making. Animals do not have this form of communication. Even with the impression of a clear organization (bees, ants), they ultimately only act, driven by instincts and reflexes, and do not work, as a person does.
