Difference between T-12 and T-13 shape.

In order to record the working time of employees, personnel services of Russian enterprises use forms T-12 and T-13. What is the specificity of these documents?

What is Form T-12?

Document T-12 is a unified form approved by the State Statistics Committee of the Russian Federation and used by Russian enterprises to record the working time of employees. The official name of the document in question is “Timesheet of working hours and calculating wages”.

This source allows:

  • to record whether a person came to work on a specific day, and if he did not come, indicate the reason (for example, the employee was on vacation);
  • Record how many hours a person was present at work.

This information is needed by the company primarily for the correct calculation of the employee's salary. It can be noted that in the structure of the T-12 form there is a block in which the corresponding calculations are recorded. The data is usually entered into it by the accounting department of the organization. But it is not necessary to use the block for payroll calculations, which is present in the T-12 form. Accountants for this purpose can use other tools that they see fit.

Form T-12

Form T-12 is intended for manual data entry - on a PC in Word or with a ballpoint pen if a paper version of the document is used.

The main element of the source under consideration is the table. Column 55 should be filled in in it - in order to indicate the most detailed information about the visits by employees of the company to their work, as well as to reflect information about the person's salary.

What is Form T-13?

This source has the same purpose as the previous one. It was approved, like the T-12 form, by the State Statistics Committee of the Russian Federation. However form T-13 is designed to be filled in automatically - that is, with the help of specialized computer programs and access control systems, which are used to record visits by employees of the company to their work. In addition, there is no block for payroll in the T-13 form.

Forms T-13

The official name of the document in question is "Timesheet". If, thus, the records of visits by employees to work are carried out automatically, then the accounting department in any case should use third-party tools for calculating salaries.

The structure of the form in question is much more simplified in comparison with that which characterizes the previous document. So, in the table, which is the main element of the T-13 form, there are 13 columns.

Comparison

The main difference between the T-12 form and the T-13 form is that the first document is intended to record visits by the company's employees to their work manually, and the second is used for the same purposes, but filled in automatically. In the T-12 form, there is, and in the T-13 there is no payroll block. Documents also differ in the number of columns in the table, which is the main element of the corresponding timesheets.

Having determined what is the difference between the form T-12 and T-13, we fix the conclusions in a small table.
