Difference between domesticated and wild animals.

After all, such a quality should already be embedded in the genes. Reproduction in captivity in these fauna is often difficult. But domestic species usually easily produce offspring, often numerous.

There is another factor that needs to be mentioned to see the difference between domesticated and wild animals. It consists in the fact that the latter undergo natural selection. In this case, figuratively speaking, nature itself decides who will continue to exist and what properties will be endowed with. Meanwhile, "friends of man" are subject to artificial selection. At the same time, new, more effective breeds can be developed.

Of particular importance is the fact that there are often significant changes in animals as a result of domestication. For example, sometimes they increase or decrease in size. Less coarse food causes the jaw to transform. The limbs acquire a slightly different appearance. In addition, under favorable conditions, many breeds develop faster than their wild ancestors.
